One-time teenage music sensation singer Taylor Swift has listed her Nashville home for sale just a year after buying the place. It seems that the 21-year-old country singing star, who has attracted the attention of just about every teenager in the U.S. is tiring from her new digs already.
The Country music sensation purchased the four-bedroom, five and a half bathroom house last September after winning four Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards and six Country Music Awards for just over $1.4 million.
The Tudor style home was built in 1925 and is located in the historic Nashville neighborhood of Whitland. The house has been totally restored and renovated with interior features such as hardwood floors, marble bathroom floors, with several rooms boasting magnificent hand-crafted plaster ceilings. The exterior gardens feature lush foliage and an outdoor entertainment area complete with a large fireplace.
With a busy touring schedule its possible Taylor just decided to get rid of some real estate. Surely, as the Forbes’ 7th most powerful celebrity of 2011 she isn’t having any trouble paying the mortgage. The song bird shelled out $2.5 million for an historic home located in an exclusive area of Nashville for her parents last spring. The home is located near country star Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman.
The winning blonde blue-eyed music star is a native of Pennsylvania, but at just 14 years of age her parents moved Swift to Nashville to pursue her ambitions of being a country music star. Five years ago she debuted her first single “Tim McGraw” and has captured the hearts of millions of fans since then.
